#121 and #122 (oops)
Yesterday, aka #121, aka Wednesday, the movers showed up and packed up most of my house. I was tired and just forgot to blog. Oops! So here it is. Oh, andd P.S., for some reason my blog is not registering my 'enter' button. Sorry about that. So, #121. The movers got here at 8AM, which was perfect because the girls and I left for PWOC at about 10 after 8. We had an awesome traditional Seder meal. It turned out really well! A, our programs lady, didd such an amazing job. And the Jewish lady that came and really led the meal with the blessings and her personal experiences was wonderful. It really was an awesome PWOC morning. For me, there was very little 'bible study' because I didn't go to my small group. But it was still good. The movers finished for the day around 4. I went to the library and got us some books and movies (since all of ours are boxed up!). We also have 'loaner' pots, pans, plates, cups. So we aren't living in a bare house. The guys that were packing us up were super nice. I made cookies for PWOC, and gave the movers some. They made my day when I overheard them telling one another how good the cookies were! Moving Day One was pretty great! And now, #122. This morning, I really wanted to punch J in the face when he woke me up! I was/am just too tired. I blame it on the moving process, even though I really am not doing anything! This morning, I took P and K to their friend's house. We all goot to hang out and play, it was nice. We had planned on going tto the Wildpark but the weather didn't look so friendly, so a day inside was in order. After a great time at her house, I dropped the kiddos at home with j, who had stayed home to be with the movers as they finished up. I went to the thrift store to consign my double stroller and one pack-n-play. I want a smaller stroller when we get to the states, if I buy one at all! The big news of today: We were offered a home on post at Campbell. They emailed us and said it will be ready the week we get there. Now we have to look in to it and decide if we want to take it... Part of me really wants to, just so I know I have a house! But I also don't want to live in a horrible house for 3 years. Been there, done that! I will keep you updated, don't worry!
