So, I am back... Didn't give up on blogging. Possibly because I need to complain tonight. I have a horrible headache. Still. I just want to curl up in to a ball and be left alone for about a week. Since that is not a possibility, I am just going about my normal life. And just a little FYI, it annoys me to no end when people suggest I take a Motrin. Really?! Taking a Motrin for my headache is like using a BB gun on an Elephant. Not very effective. It's kind of like eating candy, but I don't get the satisfying candy-ness. I have had a headache since I was 11. Not exaggerating. When I was 11, I got my first headache. My first migraine. And it just never went away. Every morning, I wake up with a headache, and I go to sleep with one. Some days, it is a dull ache. Some days, it is a 'I want to chop my own head off, or gouge my eyes out, or SOMETHING' pain. It lessens, and worsens, and lessens. But never goes away. That's not normal-that is what the nice doctors tell me. The not so nice doctors think I am faking or hoping to score some drugs. I have had MRIs and CTs and EEGs and EKGs and so many other alphabet tests. And I am still a mystery. 12-ish years later. I have tried a mouth guard, glasses, anti-depressants, blood pressure meds, anti-seizure meds, nose sprays. You name it, I have tried it. Still have head issues. I have seen numerous GPs and PAs and Neuro guys. No one could tell me a thing. It is really annoying. Because I always have a headache. I work around it. I deal with the nausea. I close my eyes and grit my teeth when I want to pass out or vomit or cry. I do not get a break. I don't go to the clinic for every owie, mainly because I feel like I have tried everything. So yeah, it kind of annoys me when other people complain about having a headache. Really? Your head hurts? Sucks. So, yeah. I have a headache.
